Alongside school workshops, Art-Room works with libraries, festivals, parish councils and community groups to deliver creative projects that bring people together and celebrate local heritage
Festivals
I love being part of festivals and creating opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in making something together. From willow weaving to hands-on craft activities, my workshops encourage creativity, celebrate traditional skills and help create lasting memories for visitors and the local community.
Library Craft Sessions
I enjoy working with libraries to provide welcoming and creative activities for children, families and adults. These sessions offer opportunities to explore different materials and techniques, encouraging people to relax, connect with others and discover the joy of making.
Community Projects
I love working with communities to create artwork that tells a story and celebrates local heritage. The Ackworth Parish mosaic project brought together residents of all ages to explore the village's history and contribute to a collaborative artwork that captures a sense of place and community.
Family Sessions
Family workshops provide a chance for children, parents and grandparents to slow down, get creative and enjoy quality time together. I aim to create friendly, hands-on sessions where everyone can take part, whatever their age or experience.
