New Art Lesson Plans for Primary Schools – More on the Way!

I’m excited to announce that on my website, I’m currently building a new collection of art lesson plans for primary schools, designed especially for teachers who want engaging, easy‑to‑use resources in the classroom.

These lesson plans are intended to help you deliver creative, structured sessions with confidence. Each plan will outline objectives, materials, step‑by‑step activities, and extension ideas, all to support meaningful art learning for young children.

What’s Available Now

Right now, you’ll find a selection of lesson plans ready to go and you’ll see them listed in the “Shop > Art Lesson Plans” section of the site. These are immediately usable, and I’ll be adding more frequently.

What’s Coming Soon

Because this is a work in progress, I’ll be uploading brand‑new plans regularly:

  • Seasonal projects (for example, linked to Christmas, Easter, harvest or celebration themes)

  • Cross‑curriculum art links (history, science, nature)

If you don’t see exactly what you need just yet—please check back soon! The library is growing.

Why These Lesson Plans?

  • Time‑saving: Planning art lessons takes time. These ready‑made plans free you up to focus on teaching.

  • Engaging: Designed for children aged 5‑11, the activities are hands‑on, creative and fun.

  • Flexible: You can adapt materials and steps to fit your class, resources and timetable.

  • Supportive: With clear structure, you feel confident running the session and the children feel successful.

Make Sure You Stay Updated

Since I’ll be adding new lesson plans regularly, you might want to:

  • Check back every few weeks for fresh uploads.

  • Follow the “Shop > Art Lesson Plans” section and bookmark it for quick access.

Thank you for your interest and support! I can’t wait to see how these lesson plans help you bring more creativity into your classroom.

If you have a suggestion for a particular theme or age group you’d love to see, please drop me a message — I’d love to hear your ideas.
